Any item purchased through www.emporiumnz.com is eligible for exchange or refund if returned within 14 days of the original date of purchase. Items returned after this period will not be accepted. Online orders can be returned for an exchange at the Emporium store.
Returned items must be unused and in original condition, with tags and original packaging attached. All footwear must be returned unworn in the original box with no marks or blemishes. When returning footwear please ensure the box is well protected as this is considered part of the product.
Sale items are not eligible for refund or credit, this includes Boxing Day sales and any item purchased under a promotional code.
Emporium is not liable for the loss or delay of return packages and recommends using a traceable delivery service for returning orders.
Shipping and handling charges are not refunded unless the original item is deemed as faulty.
Please Note: Orders returned for Change of Mind will be processed within 5 working days of receiving goods.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
Size exchanges can be made in any of our stores, provided we have the stock to accommodate; alternatively you can ship the item back to us.
- Please ensure you return the item within 14 days of receipt for any change of mind exchange/return.
- Please ensure the goods are unused in original condition/packaging, tags attached and accompanied with a receipt for any change of mind/return.
- Emporium will not be held accountable for any packages we do not ship ourselves; the customer must pay for shipping costs.

This will be processed as soon as possible; we will inform you once your return has has been processed.
Any exchange/return for change of mind will be processed within 5 working days.
Any faulty items being returned will be processed within 10 working days.

If your item is faulty or does not correspond with the item presented on area51store.co.nz you may return it.
Please contact us as soon as you notice the fault.
Once we receive the item we will repair, replace or refund the item within 10 working days of receipt.
If the item is faulty we will refund to you the costs of returning the item and cover all shipping costs for the replacement or repaired item.
Sale items are final and are not eligible for exchange, refund or credit, this includes items purchased under a discount code or during promotions.
Please Note: Items must be of equal or greater value when exchanged at any Emporium store.
If an item you purchased from us is faulty because of manufacturing faults, we will try our hardest to replace it or fix it. If in the case we have no more stock of the item or we can't repair the fault we will award a store credit. We will not replace items that have been damaged because of wear and tear. When returning footwear, please return with original box packaged inside another box. If an item has been used please return clean and not stinky.
All products must be returned with receipt or proof or purchase. Please send back items with a track and trace number so it won’t get lost in the mail!
Occasionally we might be short-shipped on product from a supplier or brand. In this case if an item you have ordered does not show up we will refund your order in full.
Note: Some items on display may differ in colour but in such cases this will be noted on the display page. We only have estimates for scheduled delivery, sometimes this may vary. We will endeavour to keep in touch with you regarding delayed deliveries.
Although we do our very best to offer our products at a reasonable and competitive price determined by our suppliers, we also offer a global price match service. If you find the same product somewhere else for a lower price we are more than happy to match it. Price match is available in store and online. Please keep in mind the terms and conditions below:
- The item must be full price and not subject to any promotion, sales offers or membership/VIP discounts or codes.
- The item to be considered must be identical to the one listed at Emporium and currently in-stock on both sites.
- We are happy to match prices in most situations but we still reserve the right not to alter our prices.

Gift Cards & Store Credit
Gift cards can be purchased in store or online and can be redeemed for items at Emporium. Both gift cards and store credit are valid for four months from time of issuing. You can redeem these online by entering the code into the Gift Card/Promo Code box in the checkout. Any issues just email us at email@example.com.
Prices of goods and services and delivery and other charges displayed on the Emporium site are current at the time of display. These prices are subject to variation without notice. We will always try to be as accurate as possible with our product descriptions and pricing. However, because we like to party and have the odd late night, we are unable to warrant that product descriptions or other content of the web site is accurate, complete, reliable, current or error free.
